You can also park at Clemson and pick up the trail there. I would rate it five stars except for lots of "root humps" between Travelers Rest and Greenville. Signs are needed telling you where to go. The asphalt does need a little repair in a few places but overall a very enjoyable ride! Another runner confused at same spot. The path is showing signs of wear with cracks and bumps where tree roots are growing. The detour was inconvenient, but that should be fixed soon. The connector to the lower part of the Trail will require some map reading or familiarity with G-ville. We enjoyed the shops in Traveler's Rest and especially the small ice cream shop.
